After vast data manipulation and looking at every conceivable policy and outcome, the researchers reluctantly come to an incredible conclusion. They conclude that nothing that governments did had any effect. There was only cost, no benefit. Everywhere in the world.
Please just let that sink in.
The policy response destroyed countless millions of small businesses, ruined a generation in learning losses, spread ill health with substance abuse, wrecked churches that could not hold holiday services, decimated arts and cultural institutions, broke trade, unleashed inflation that is nowhere near done with us yet, provoked new forms of online censorship, built government power in a way without precedent, led to new levels of surveillance, spread vaccine injury and death, and otherwise shattered liberties and laws the world over, not to mention leading to frightening levels of political stability.
    And for what?
Apparently, it was all for nought.

“Rave in the Nave”: On the Desecration of English Churches...Even secular observers have been disturbed by booze-fueled discos in ancient cathedrals.  The recent “rave in the nave,” in which a booze-fueled disco was held in Canterbury Cathedral, one of England’s oldest and most storied churches, caused outrage from believers and nonbelievers alike. The event—which was defended by the presiding rector, a gay man ‘married’ to his partner—just seemed unseemly, somehow. We’re not sure what these spaces are for anymore—but not for that.

Poll: Only 19% of Joe Biden Voters Say Society Benefits from Marriage, Having Children Only 19 percent of Biden voters say that “society is better off if people make marriage and having children a priority,” compared to 59 percent of former President Donald Trump supporters and 39 percent of registered voters overall. The results come amid a singleness and loneliness epidemic among young people and as the United States continues to experience the lowest birth rate in a century.

In Biden’s America, defacing a Pride mural is a felony, but defacing national monuments goes unpunished Pride crosswalks are all the rage and to defile one is to incite the long arm of the law to file hate crime or felony charges. But statues and memorials commemorating our founding fathers or the origin of our nation are entirely prime to be vandalized, and that vandalism is defended by law enforcement. Last week some kids got slapped with felonies for leaving skid marks on a Pride crosswalk in Spokane, Wash. while on the other side of the country in Washington, DC a mob of vandals attacked statues in front of the White House, covering them with spray paint all because they are mad about a foreign war. They were not even arrested, never mind charged.

Brooklyn Museum director, Jewish board members’ homes vandalized with antisemitic graffiti: ‘Blood on your hands’   The Brooklyn Museum’s director and a number of its Jewish board members were targeted overnight by antisemitic vandals who tossed red paint and scrawled “blood on your hands” across their homes, shocking images show...
...An inverted red triangle was also sprayed on her door — a symbol used in the past by Hamas to identify Israeli military targets and, more recently, has been spotted at anti-Israel tent encampment protests that plagued university campuses across the country.

Jews are beaten and intimidated daily in New York City with impunity. Jews change their names on ride-share apps, so they won’t be recognized as Jews, many have taken down their mezuzahs and hide Stars of David as Mayor Eric Adams and Governor Kathy Hochul have turned a blind eye.
Simply, New York Jews are scared and unprotected.

Rich Students Disproportionally Play the Radical: Should We Fund Elite Universities?  The noble wunderkind idealists inhabiting the Harvards and Columbias of the world believe they have almost a divine right to behave as they wish, ignoring not only the rule of law but also accepted boundaries of protest in the democratic polity in which they live. Worse, they lately have displayed a despicable hatred or contempt towards a group of people based on their religion and traditions, also known as racism—evaluating people on group characteristics instead of their own worth as individuals.
But, the excessive disconnect between the real world and college is beginning to have seriously negative consequences.

'No Excuses': Can a Return to Traditional Discipline Save Public Schools?  The academy is one of an estimated 1,000 high-performing urban charters that run on the No Excuses model. Its firm rules for behavior require students to sit up at their desks, remain silent unless called upon, and respect each other, which creates calm conditions for learning.
After another year of disarray in many urban public schools, with the vast majority of teachers reporting that behavior issues were their biggest challenge, proponents say No Excuses charters provide an example of how to restore order and learning.

He Accused Israel of Genocide Days After Oct. 7. The University of Minnesota Tapped Him To Lead Its Genocide Studies Center.  On Oct. 13, just six days after Hamas terrorists infiltrated the Jewish state and slaughtered more than 1,000 Israelis, Stockton University professor Raz Segal penned an op-ed accusing Israel of genocide. Months later, the University of Minnesota tapped Segal to lead its Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, prompting resignations from members of the center's advisory board.

Massachusetts Bill Would Allow Women to Sell Their Unborn Children Women and children are not commodities. Children have a right to be born free, not bought and sold. No amount of saccharine wording can mask the fact that the “Parentage Equality” bill monetizes women’s bodies and turns children into products. The women and children of Massachusetts deserve better.
